Bachmann Announces Progress in the Establishment of Veterans Health Clinic in Minnesota’s Sixth District
Woodbury, MN,
Aug 26 -
U.S. Representative Michele Bachmann (MN-06) announced today that the long-awaited VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic is making progress and a pre-solicitation advertisement is expected shortly.
“After years of discussion and planning, I am pleased to announce that the future VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic, which will provide increased access and service to our well-deserved veterans, is closer to becoming a reality,” said Bachmann. “I appreciate the hard work that so many have put into ensuring our brave veterans have the benefits and resources they need. These individuals have sacrificed so much for our freedom and have asked for so little in return. I will continue to work closely with the Department of Veterans Affairs and other partners to ensure the remainder of this process is completed quickly and efficiently.”
In a phone conversation with officials from the VA yesterday, Bachmann was told that a pre-solicitation advertisement would soon be forthcoming. As a follow-up to the two previous meetings she has organized this year with the VA and interested community leaders and veterans from the Sixth District, Congresswoman Bachmann will be organizing another meeting with VA officials to discuss the details of this solicitation and how it will bring this much-needed clinic closer to reality.
